Breaking News: Naira Marley Surrenders Self To Police As Funke Akindele And Hubby Placed On 14 Days Community Service
Finally, popular lewd singer, Azeez Fashola, a.k.a Naira Marley, has surrendered himself to the police at State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba, Lagos State.
The state police command spokesperson, Bala Elkana, who confirmed this, said Naira Marley arrived the SCID office on Monday afternoon April 6, and has been interrogated. He will also be charged to court for violating the restriction orders.
The police say the command has launched a manhunt for the remaining persons who attended the party organized by Funke Akindele and her hubby over the weekend.
However, Lagos Police Command has confirmed that Abdul Rasheed Bello, the husband to Nollywood star, Funke Akindele were in police custody this morning and both were taken to court for trial, according to the command PRO, Bala Elkana.
Akindele’s husband reportedly submitted to the police at about 2:00 am this morning, following the threat to declare him wanted for violating the coronavirus epidemic lockdown in Lagos State.
They were charged for breaching the Lagos Infection Diseases Regulations 2020 (the Regulations) which prescribes a jail term of one month or N100,000 fine or both for persons found guilty of hosting gatherings or flouting the lockdown order.
It rule says “Where there is a violation of a closedown or stay at home order, security Agencies shall have the power to arrest without warrant and may detain any person who violates the close-down or stay at home order for at least 48 hours.
“Where the arrested person is found guilty, the person is liable to a fine of N100,000.00 or one-month imprisonment or three months Community service.”
