“Ba” has become the most expensive African porcelain in the world with a value of $31,500 (thirty one thousand five hundred dollars) on the United States market as of September 23, 2022.

Ba, is a porcelain teapot from the Cer-Afrique brand released in 2007. It is the intellectual property of the ceramist and founder of the CerAfrique workshops, Corine HAZOUME. The work is crowned with a pea to weigh gold, symbol of the royalty of Ghana. It is the expression of purity of heart. Cer-Afrique is a heritage of Ivory Coast, Benin and France. The quality of the material and the originality touched the hearts of the United States which raised the stakes. Its creator Corine HAZOUME expressed her joy which she shared with the friends of Cer-Afrique: “I am in joy, an immense joy because my works acquire value over the years and today I am part of of the best ceramists in the world. The ceramic goldsmith will be from November 9 to 13, 2022 in Bogota, Colombia as a special guest of the international meeting of black expression organized by the Colombia Negra foundation. She will exhibit as a master lecturer on cultural rights, artistic development and ethnic journalism.
