OLOFIN FELICITATES OLU OF AGBOYI ON ELEVATION TO GRADE A (FIRST-CLASS) STATUS
His Royal Majesty, Oba (Engr.) Sulaiman Adekunle Bamgbade, FNATE – Ayodele III, the Olofin of Isheri, heartily congratulates His Majesty, Oba (Engr.) Monsuru Abimbola Adekanbi Oladega, the Olu of Agboyi, on the elevation of the Olu of Agboyi Stool to Grade A (First-Class) Oba status in Lagos State.
The elevation formally recognises the historic position of the Olu of Agboyi as a distinguished member of the Akarigbere (White Cap) Class, reaffirming the stool’s deep-rooted role in the traditional and cultural hierarchy of Awori.
His Royal Majesty notes that this well-deserved elevation restores the Olu of Agboyi to his rightful place among the First-Class Obas of Lagos State, in line with history, tradition, and the enduring heritage of the people.
The Olofin describes the development as a victory for cultural justice and historical continuity, commending the Lagos State Government and all stakeholders whose commitment to due process and traditional institutions made the recognition possible.
His Royal Majesty prays for wisdom, strength, and divine guidance for the Olu of Agboyi as he continues to lead his people in peace, progress, and unity.
