KIRTI’S KARE FOUNDATION (KKF) CELEBRATES THE ELEVATION OF Fayoade Adegoke Mustapha TO DEPUTY INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE**
The KKF Legacy Society and Kirti’s Kare Foundation (KKF) extend heartfelt congratulations on the well-deserved promotion of Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG Fayoade Adegoke Mustapha (mni, psc, MNIM), to the esteemed rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG).
This historic elevation from DPO Ilupeju to former Lagos CP, AIG Zone 2 Command, and now DIG, marks a defining moment in Nigeria’s policing leadership in 2026. For the KKF Legacy Family, this appointment is not only an institutional milestone but also a deeply personal celebration of integrity, dedication, and God’s divine plan.
At KKF, our foundation stands firmly on faith — “God is Good All the Time” — and we believe that God’s plan is always the best plan. The promotion of DIG Fayoade reflects decades of discipline, visionary leadership, and unwavering service to the nation.
DIG Fayoade began his distinguished career in 1992 and brings over three decades of exemplary service to his new national assignment. Until his promotion, he served as AIG in charge of Zone 2 Command, Lagos, earning widespread recognition for strengthening community policing and leading strategic operations, including the dismantling of the notorious “Billionaires” kidnapping gang in Lagos.
His career is decorated with numerous national and international recognitions, including the 2024 Crime Buster of the Year for West and Central Africa, multiple Best Police Station in Africa awards, Best Divisional Police Officer in West Africa, and international security honors from respected global institutions.
The Chairman of the Police Service Commission, Hashimu Salihu Argungu (rtd), mni, described the promotion as a call to greater responsibility, expressing confidence in DIG Fayoade’s expertise in technology-driven policing and stakeholder partnerships to strengthen Nigeria’s security architecture.
Ambassador Dr. Kirti Sudhanshu, Founder of KKF, stated:
> “Police is our friend — this is real. Everyone will feel the positive impact of this leadership. DIG Fayoade’s personal visit to KKF during our time of need demonstrated his generosity, commitment, and respect for the Indian community in Ilupeju and beyond. His actions produced results. He stands on the positive side of life, and we proudly stand united by his side.”
The KKF Legacy Society recognizes DIG Fayoade not only as a respected officer but as a brother in charity and nation-building. His leadership reflects courage, compassion, and commitment to community partnership.
As he begins this new chapter as Deputy Inspector General of Police, KKF expresses full confidence that his tenure will further strengthen public trust and bring citizens and the Nigeria Police Force even closer together.
POLICE IS OUR FRIEND.
KKF STANDS UNITED.
