OBA OLUGBENLE, YEWA OBAS, APC PARTY LEADERS LAY FOUNDATION FOR NEW YEWA OBAS COMPLEX
His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba (Dr.) Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle, the Olu of Ilaro, Paramount Ruler of Yewaland and Chairman, Ogun State Council of Obas, was joined by traditional rulers across Yewaland and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun West to lay the foundation for the new Yewa Obas Complex, Yewa Traditional Council Secretariat, on Tuesday, 27th January, 2026.
Prior to the foundation-laying ceremony, Oba Olugbenle presided over the first Yewa Traditional Council meeting of the year, followed by a get-together held at the Asade Agunloye Pavilion, Ilaro-Yewa.
The old Yewa Traditional Council Secretariat was demolished to make way for the new complex, which is being facilitated by the Aremo of Yewaland.
Kabiyesi extends his deep appreciation to Distinguished Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI), Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District and Aremo of Yewaland, for proposing and sponsoring a befitting Secretariat for the Yewa Obas. Appreciation is also extended to all party leaders and everyone who witnessed the historic foundation-laying ceremony.
