2023: G-6 visits APC Headquarters in Lagos
….Promises huge support for Tinubu
In other to foster the campaign of the All Progressive Congress, APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a group made up of six countries called G-6 visited the party’s headquarters in Lagos, recently.
The group which is made up of Nigerians living in Benin Republic,Sierra Leone ,Togo, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Cotonou at the visit promised to support Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Shettima by coming down to Nigeria to cast their votes come 2023 general election.
Chairman, APC Diaspora, Benin Republic chapter, Hon. Alhaji Wale Adeyemo, who could not hide his joy said that Bola Tinubu is the next president and that they promised to accord him all support he needs to win by mobilizing Nigerians in disapora to come down in Nigeria to vote for him. ”We love him so much. And we want him to be our next president.”
Also, vice chairman, APC Diaspora, Benin Republic chapter, Hon. Olatunde Orioye, said he feels so confident in APC and it’s candidates. According to him, “when you are in this party you are confident. APC it’s a party that wants the progress of the nation. It’s the party that can give Nigeria the best. Nigerians lives and that of their children are better in APC. It’s only APC that is the solution to the country right now.”
Responding to changes APC will bring since it’s the same APC that is ruling us, he said: “Even though it’s APC that is ruling now, we are bringing in different package. We are in 50/50 level in Nigeria and what we need is a step further for growth and that is why we need need Bola Tinubu to take Nigeria further.
He described Tinubu as a man that has been tested and trusted. “He is a man that can take us to the next levels. The man that can take us out of this Nigeria is not good enough. A man that can bring us to a level that all Nigerian abroad will come back home. We came all the way from Contonu to visit the APC headquarters to show our support for him. G6 has the right to come to Nigeria and vote so we are coming to vote for him next year.”
Adding: “We are close to the Nigeria border so we are all moving to Nigeria to cast our votes on the Election Day. We have our preparation set. We have been running campaigns for him in all the states. We are also having a rally that is coming up before the election.”
Giving his words to Tinubu, he said:” Baba we love you. We trust you and we know that when you get there you will give Nigerians a new face which we all clamour for. The new face of Nigeria that will better our lives and that of our children”
Woman leader, Deborah Ayodeji urged everyone in diaspora to get their PVC and make sure they vote for Ahmed Tinubu for the next president.
