OBA OF BENIN CANCELS CHURCH WORSHIP OVER COVID-19
His Royal Majesty, Oba of Benin Ewuare 11, the Benin Traditional Council and the Royal Palace of Benin Kingdom have put aside all arrangement that will bring about celebration and schedule worship at Holy Aruosa Church by His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare 11 , Oba of Benin due to increase in the second wave of Covid-19.
Frank Irabor, the Secretary of the Benin Traditional Council, broke the news in a press release sent to the official Momentous page online.Mr Irabor also explained why the news of the cancellation is necessary to avoid people from different works of life who have promised physical presence, on Sunday 27th December, 2020, to do away with the invitation until further notice
