Winner emerges at the William Lawson’s Naija Highlandah challenge 2022

William Lawson’s Blended Scotch Whisky has announced the winner of its 2022 Naija Highlandah challenge in Lagos.
The first-ever Naija Highlandah, Akinwale Awatt, emerged as the winner at the grand finale of The NaijaHighlandah Challenge by William Lawson’s held at Union Bank Sports Ground, Surulere, Lagos on Saturday November 12.
The month-long search saw daring participants compete through a series of challenges to win the grand prize of two-million-naira cash and a trip to Scotland.
The NAIJA Highlandah Challenge started from 13th October to 12th November 2022 and was opened to 18-year-olds and above with the guts to take up the challenge.
The search for The NAIJA Highlandah kicked off with William Lawson’s Highlandahs storming major streets and bus terminals in Lagos.
The Highlandahs also visited the Oshodi and Ikeja Bus Terminals, where they paid the bus fares of random Nigerians to the delight of beneficiaries and other members of the public.
Speaking about The NAIJA Highlandah challenge, Lerato Makume, Bacardi Marketing Manager for Nigeria, said, “William Lawson’s is known for defying the norm, making its own rules and being brazenly different, just like our liquid.
“William Lawson’s NAIJA Highlandah are bold Nigerians who live life by their own rules. We know Nigeria is full of Highlandahs, now we have one person with the guts to be the William Lawson’s NAIJA Highlandah, ” Makume said.
