The Ogun State Police Command has arrested two additional suspects in connection with an ongoing investigation into a case of criminal conspiracy, armed robbery, and hijacking of a cement trailer.
ARREST OF TWO NEW SUSPECTS
The suspects, John Seun (male, 24 years), alias “Dagrin,” and Olanipekun Ezekiel (male, 35 years), alias “Sharply,” were arrested for their active involvement in the criminal syndicate. Investigations revealed that the suspects participated in a gang operation during which a trailer conveying 900 bags of cement was hijacked, the driver was restrained, and the consignment was diverted to the syndicate’s buyer.
Further investigation disclosed that the suspects confessed to having committed murder during previous criminal operations of the syndicate. Investigations are still in top gear to arrest other fleeing members of the gang.
