Momentous Magazine Publisher Presents MOPA 2026 Notification of Award to Lagos CP, Tijani Fatai

The Publisher and Chief Editor of Momentous Magazine, Prince Sesan Rufus Awobiye, has presented the official Notification of Award for the 2026 Momentous Outstanding Personalities Awards (MOPA) to the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Tijani Olayiwola Fatai, psc, mnips.
The presentation was made as part of preparations for the forthcoming MOPA 2026, an initiative designed to recognise individuals and institutions whose contributions have made significant impact across various sectors of society.
CP Fatai, who assumed duty as the 42nd Commissioner of Police of the Lagos State Command in March 2026, has since focused on strengthening security, community engagement and intelligence-led policing across the state.
The award notification acknowledges the Commissioner’s leadership and commitment to maintaining law and order, protecting lives and property, and enhancing security across Lagos. Under his leadership, the Command has continued to undertake intelligence-driven operations against criminal activities, while also promoting collaboration with communities and other stakeholders.
The presentation further underscores Momentous Magazine’s commitment to celebrating public servants and other distinguished personalities whose dedication and service contribute to the development and security of society.
Receiving the notification, CP Fatai was formally briefed on the significance of the recognition and the forthcoming MOPA 2026 programme.
The presentation forms part of a wider engagement by Momentous Magazine ahead of the 2026 edition of the Momentous Outstanding Personalities Awards, which will bring together distinguished personalities, public officials, business leaders, traditional rulers and other notable stakeholders to celebrate excellence, leadership and outstanding contributions to society.
