Bishop Oyedepo Lays Foundation of 100,000 Seater Auditorium
Thursday March 25, 2021 witnessed a ground breaking ceremony of the World Living Faith Church Worldwide a.ka. Winners Chapel International Headquarters, in Ota, Ogun State.

The foundation of more than 100,000 seats capacity auditorium, which by estimation is the largest in Africa tagged; “The ARK” was laid by the Presiding Bishop of the church, Bishop David Oyedepo, and was witnessed by ministers of God and some members of the church.
The multi billion naira project, according an interaction with one of the members of the church, is the Lord’s doing, adding that the needed funds from take off to completion of the project were already on ground.

The duration of the project is however not known as at the time of filing this report.
Bishop David Oyedepo is believed to have had an encounter with the Holy Spirit when he was aged 26, when he lodged in one of the rooms within ‘International Hotel’ located in the Omi –Asoro Quarters, Ilesa, Osun State.
He claimed to have had an 18-hour supernatural encounter which was a vision from God, saying, ‘Now the hour has come to liberate the world from all oppressions of the devil, through the preaching of the word of faith, and I am sending you to undertake this task.”
Meanwhile, in on December 11, 1983, the church began operating with four members.

The foundation of Canaanland, the headquarters of Winners Chapel located in Ota, Ogun State was laid on August 29, 1998 but it was inaugurated in 1999 with 50,400 sitting capacity.
