Barrister Bada Emmanuel, the *Deputy Director at the Lagos State Ministry of Justice*, has distinguished himself through his unwavering commitment to justice, inclusion, and public service. His professional journey is a testament to resilience, excellence, and a passion for advancing the rights and welfare of persons with disabilities.

A notable milestone in his academic career was gaining admission into the *National University of Ireland Galway*, where he studied *International and Comparative Disability Law and Policy*, becoming the *first Nigerian* to participate in the prestigious program. His groundbreaking achievement opened doors and inspired many aspiring legal professionals interested in disability rights and inclusive policy development.

His dedication and expertise earned him appointments as the representative of the Attorneys-General on the Board of the *Lagos State Office for Disability Affairs (LASODA)* for two consecutive terms during the administrations of *Babatunde Raji Fashola* and *Akinwunmi Ambode*. Through these roles, he contributed significantly to policies and initiatives aimed at improving the lives of persons with disabilities across Lagos State.

Further demonstrating his academic excellence, Barrister Emmanuel secured a scholarship to pursue a Master’s degree in Law in the United States. Following his studies, he authored a book focusing on the critical role of *accessibility for persons with disabilities*, further cementing his reputation as a leading voice in disability law and advocacy.
