Today,Thursday,February 25th,

relatives,friends,colleagues, neighbuors, and other well wishers across the world will be celebrating Akin Olusola Oyedapo, a.k.a.Odogun 1,an epitome of benevolence, an icon and a true African.

This day the gracious God has added yet another year to his age.

 

For Oyedapo, a Supply Chain specialist who lives in the United Kingdom, U.K., it will be yet another day to respond to send birthday wishes from his loved ones with broad smiles of appreciation and aura of fulfillment.
Perhaps, one of the major characters of Oyedapo that has endeared him to friends and colleagues is kindheartedness. This has made him favourites of many people event in his native town in Oyo State, Nigeria and traditional rulers in the Southwestern Nigeria, including, Oba Adulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, Oluwo of Iwo Land, in Osun State.

Alhaja Olajumoke Balogun and her husband, Bobby Balogun a friend, based in United Kingdom, and wife of Bobby Balogun, one of the bosom friends of Arole, said this about the celebrant.

” People love him a lot. In U.K. here many people call him Odogu 1, AK 47, Osimere 1. He loves to help people a lot. He does charity here and in Nigeria. He is well-known by Oluwo of Iwo land, At times he does charity work for old people in Iwo town, Osun State, and there are some old people that he pays salaries every month in Iwo land”, She said. ( HER first name) She added that Oyedapo doesn’t like to see people cheated.If he sees that you are somebody with right talent, he would find way to support you and your business, he has helped many people in this regard. ”

 

“And he always gives advice, but doesn’t like to expose his family on the social media. He loves his privacy on family matter. My husband love him so much, because he loves people that have talents. Not that you will come to U.K. and you won’t know what you are doing, my husband loves young people with talents, who have focus, and who know what they are doing, that is the category I would put Arole Olusola Odogun 1”
It is said that Oyedapo may soon become a Mogaji, a highly revered traditional title for head of a family-compound in Ibadan, his native city, in southwest Nigeria. It is also observed that following some of his write-ups on the social media, Oyedapo may be nursing political ambition for a senatorial office in Nigeria, as this is propelled by his passion and love for his country. In fact it has been confirmed that come 2023 general election, Oyedapo will be among those vying the senatorial seat of his constituency
He is the Chief executive officer of Blessed People Foundation, a charity organization based in the United Kingdom. As part of the plans to commemorate the forthcoming birthday, the organization will hold medical outreach in Olanla community and its environment in Ibadan.

Oyedapo who is a former Supply Chain manager at Jaguar UK, studied Supply Chain Management at University of Bolton, U.K.; Physical and Strategic Supply Chain Management among others. He is a philanthropist and entrepreneur.

In his distinctive benevolent disposition to humanity, Oyedapo, a brother, friend, father, colleague, remains humble and respectful to all, and hopes to improve on his present status and public reputation as years go by.
