FG Approves ₦2.9 Billion For National Oil And Gas Park

The Federal Government, has approved ₦2.9billion for the National Oil and Gas park to be sited in Odukpani, Cross River State.
This was part of the decisions reached at a virtual meeting of the Federal Executive Council meeting Wednesday.
The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Mr Timipre Slyva, added that the approved sum is expected to cover the procurement of Water and fire service equipments for the National Oil and Gas Park.
The National Oil and Gas Park sited in Onimankiong, Odukpani LGA, is being realised in Cross River State as part of the contributions of Sen Gershom Bassey in the floor of the Senate as chairman, Petroleum Resources (Upstream) Technical Sub committee on policy, Process and procedure and compliance.
It is envisaged that 2000 jobs will be created at the completion of the park .
