FRSC LAGOS ARREST 40 OVERLOADED VEHICLE DURING THE 1ST WEEK OF PRESIDENTIAL EASE OF COVID-19 LOCKDOWN

The Federal Road Safety Corps Lagos Sector Command has arrested 40 overloaded vehicles since the ease of lockdown began on Monday 4th May, 2020.
The Sector Commander FRSC Lagos Sector Command, CC Hyginus Omeje stated that despite the warnings by the Corps and other agencies on the need to avoid overloading of vehicles, different categories of vehicles were still apprehended for overloading unacceptably.
He lauded most motorists in the state who had been obeying the governments order aimed at mitigating the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
He however, warned all drivers to desist from the act of overloading as this is one of the crash causing offences that FRSC would never overlook.
The sector commander also appeals to Nigerians to stay safe and follow the rules and regulations to avoid contracting and spreading the virus.
