The Federal Road Safety Corps Lagos Sector Command organized her 1st Quarter Performance Improvement Retreat for her staff and component commands on Thursday, 7th March, 2024.

The Sector Commander FRSC LAGOS, Corps Commander Babatunde Farinloye, in his address, admonished Commanding Officers on the need to show more commitment to the mission and vision of the organization and be dedicated to their duties. Furthermore, he urged them to pay attention to arresting critical offences, which have a higher propensity to cause crashes on the road. He reiterated the need for operatives to be more professional while discharging their duties, to which he mandated all Commanding Officers to organize training on Effective Rescue and First Aid Administration in all FRSC formations across Lagos. He charged commanding officers to pay more attention to proper and timely report rendition.

The Acting Zonal Commanding Officer FRSC Zone 2 HQ Lagos who was represented at the retreat by Deputy Corps Commander SA Kpotun, in his keynote address urged Commanding Officers to do more and improve on their strategies to ensure crashes and fatality index in the zone is drastically reduced to the minimum.

Other highlights of the retreat were strategy sessions that X-rayed various Commands Operational Activities and pointed out areas that needed improvement.

 

 


A lecture on FRSC Operations Amid Duanting Challenges was delivered by CRC Egbontan. At the end of the event, Awards of Commendation were given to three outstanding Unit Commanders for their outstanding performances.
