“How did we get here?” Prophet Godwin Ikuru the Prophetic Hall Of Fame.

This is the question that keeps recurring in the words of The Prophetic Hall of Fame, Prophet Godwin Ikuru, the spiritual leader of the Jehovah Eye Salvation.

Worried by the recent economic situation in the country, the controversial Prophet stressed the need for the stakeholders to make thing easier for the people as well as supporting the efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu towards bring the nation back to her feet.

What is your opinion about the state of the nation sir?

Somebody goes to the market and he buys paint of rice. How much are they selling paint of rice, a derika of rice now goes for around N1, 300 and N1400, at least it should fall to N400? What is the fuel price now? The fuel is now around N640 and N650 even more, it should go to N200. Because Mr. President is not the cause for the high cost of fuel.

He removed the subsidy for us to be able to move forward. The sense behind the fuel subsidy is that because there are some expenses that are some rough expenses that are going there that actually we don’t understand as a nation. So, the cause of it is from the marketers. So the fuel must reduce drastically to N200. When we started flying aircraft from Lagos to Abuja, it was N17, 000, now it isN250, 000. That means if you are going to Abuja, to and fro, you will be going with half a million naira. So, airlines should reduce that to N50, 000, N25, 000, business class should be reduced to N70, 000.

Now, transportation should reduce drastically. The cost of importing fish, turkey into the market should be reduced. People go to market with N50, 000 and when you get home there is nothing to show for it and all the because the president is a bad president, No! It’s not the president that is the cause, the president means well for everybody. The President cannot go to the market; it is me who sometimes go to the market that know what is happening in the market. The president is innocent of what people are saying.

The masses are crying, o we will not vote for him, we will not let him come back, the issue is that he is not the cause of the problem. The enemies of the government are the ones causing these things. Like the merchants, those who are importing into the country.

Those who are selling foods in the country. You go to a restaurants and they tell you a plate of food is N28, 000, hotels will tell you that their plates of food is N50, 000, how did we get here. So there are different areas which I see the poor masses are not preaching. A bag of cement now is around N8, 000; a bag of cement should at least be able to come down to N2000 or N3000. And then the Bureau De Change, the mallams, the money changers who are changing dollars to naira, how did we get here that the dollar is rising like a flame of fire.

There should be reduction in the changing of dollars. At the prophetic hall of fame, I have looked into the matter and I have prayed, I have listened foreign politicians in Ghana, who told me how they were able to bring back their country to normal and today everybody is rejoicing in Ghana.

The Chinese who are producing in our country, the Indians who are producing our country, they came here to better our country, not to worsen our country. They are into production; they should reduce the prices of their products. You want to buy television in your room, a small inch TV; they call it around N200, 000. LG companies should reduce the prices of their products drastically. I call it Sallah Breakfast, the President need to preach and the masses need to preach. Imagine that the President could not celebrate his birthday, because he doesn’t see what makes happy. Things are getting out of hands. Look at several areas, school fees now schools are about to open. Some private schools they tell you that a term is about 250,000, 1 million, N1.5million that is for primary, not even secondary. How did we get here? There should be drastic reduction on this thing because there are some families who have five children, six children, how will they cope, how much do they receive as salary, how much do they get from their private businesses? This is a problem, and it is not caused by the president, it is caused by people who are in charge of those products and services, Like those who are into estate business. Today you call that you want to get a house they will tell you the house is N15 million.

How did we get here? You go into real estate business and somebody wants to rent house you say my house is N15 million per year, how do you want people to get that money. Do you want them to do ritual, do you want them to go and steal, so these are causing a lot of problem to the society. There should be drastic reduction of house rent across the country. People go into real estate today because they want to double money, they build houses today because they want to sell and make double money.

We are not stopping you not to make double money, but at least you should recognize that the people you are building your business for have lives, they have families. They have other responsibilities to meet up with.

Somebody wants to lodge in a hotel and you are telling him that a night is N350, 000. How did we get here? The president came in to better our nation, everyday he travels, he travels to nation to touch different issues affecting the country.

As a member of Presidential Council, APC, I have come to understand that there is a role we need to play and the role we need to play and that role is to support the president to make sure the president moves forward and every government parastatals, every private agency, every organization must comply.

Every companies, private schools, government schools must comply to make sure that the country moves forward in all areas. Because people go to market today, when they come back they shed tears. Now lets talk about the cows. Those who are into cow business. If you go to the market, they give you a small content of meat and they tell you it is N10, 000. How much do they sell a complete cow. Years ago I remember a full cow was about N27, 000, but now a full cow is over N1 million, N3million, N4million. You manage to see a cow of N900, 000. There should be instant reduction of all these things. Do you know that if you reduce you will still make money?

Definitely, definitely.
What about those selling clothes in the country. If you enter market saying you want a top, they tell you it is N16, 000, N26, 000, N20, 000. They will tell you it is because of dollar. It is not so in Zambia, there should be instant reduction of prices. So I looked at it that they are pressing the government of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and I am against it, as a prophetic hall of fame of the nation, I am the hall of fame.

I talked about the sit-at-home in the East and it’s ended today.

I spoke about it and it has ended. So, as a prophetic all of fame, I have seen that the major issue the country is facing is the high rising in the prices of food stuffs, wares, commodities, and these are the issues that need to be dealt with right now. I have dealt with major issues of the nation and this is a very small issue.
