I WILL PRIORITIZE QUICK DISPENSATION OF JUSTICE
The newly sworn in Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Imo state Chief Cyprian Akaolisa says he will prioritize quick dispensation of justice to stem the tide of illegal detention in the correctional service.
He stated this during an interview with Journalists shortly after his swearing in to office in government house Owerri.
Chief Akaolisa lamented a situation where suspects were allowed to languish in jail without trial.
He promised to use his office to prevail on the judiciary in the state to speed up trails with a view to decongesting the correctional service.
