Ifelodun APC passes vote of confidence in Famodun’s leadership, pays solidarity visit

The Ifelodun Local Government Council Area chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has passed a vote of confidence in Prince Gboyega Famodun, the state chairman of the party.

The representatives of the party in Ifelodun who were led to the Igboona, Osogbo home of the state chairman of the party on Monday by the chairman of the party in the local government, Hon B.F. Bello, pledged their continuous loyalty and support for the party leadership under Prince Famodun.

All the representatives of the party who spoke in turns disclosed that there is no point in changing a winning team as its on record that the leadership of the party under Prince Famodun has improved the fortune of the party.

Pa B.F. Bello stated that they came to solidarise with Famodun and inform him that the entire members of the APC in Ifelodun Local Government Council Area of the state have explicit and total confidence in the party administration style of Prince Famodun.

One of the visiting APC political leaders from Ifelodun Local Government, Chief Awoniyi recalled how Famodun had recorded many successes for the party during the last elections in the state.

Alhaja Tayo, one of the women leaders of the party in the local government council area disclosed that all the women, the youths and party supporters in Ifelodun local government are happy and comfortable with the leadership of the state APC chairman, charging him to go ahead without let or hinderance.

In their own remarks, Chief Moshood Oluawo popularly known as ‘Moshadek’ and Deaconess Sola Ayangbile, the APC state executive member representing the area said, they came to thank and give unalloyed solidarity support for the state party chairman for his subsisting support for Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s administration, telling him that they have political mentorship in both Governor Gboyega Oyetola and Prince Famodun, urging them to go ahead with their jobs.

In his own response, Prince Famodun was full of gratitude to the visiting political leaders from Ifelodun Local Government Council.

Famodun stated further that he would continue to ensure the success of the government of Governor Oyetola through his accumulated wealth of experience in party administration acquired over the years.

He reminded the visiting team that he rebuffed all efforts by the opposition to bribe him in order to sabotage the APC during the protracted struggle to liberate the state from the jigsaw of the reactionary group.

Among the visiting team are Mrs Iyabo Oyetunji, Evangelist Adedeji, Alhaji Adelowo, Honourable Kola Akanji, former Board chairman, Osun State Broadcasting Corporation, Chief Moses Awoniyi, the LGEA Board Chairman in the local government.
