IHEDIOHA DESERVES ACCOLADES AND NOT INSULTS
On Tuesday, 6th of August 2019, the #RebuildImo Administration under His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha assembled a team of Professionals under the aegis of the Society of Engineers and other allied professionals in Imo State, at the Executive Chambers of Government House, Owerri.
The reason for that first-in-recent-history gathering was to engage these professionals of Imo origin to find a lasting solution to the incessant episodes of flooding witnessed in the capital city of Owerri.
Ideas were generated and a blueprint initiated. It didn’t take so long for the result to become evident.
The waterways were cleared for free access and new ones were being created.
As many of us would attest, the flooding in Owerri reduced considerably. While some areas might be flooded during a downpour, the flood would disappear soon as the rain stopped.
The achievements of Emeka Ihedioha will continue to reverberate in the minds of Ndi Imo even for generations to come.
Governor Emeka Ihedioha came fully prepared. He was intentional and deliberate in his dealings. He understood the problems, and he set out to find solutions.
