Just In: 2 Passengers Kidnapped At Benin Bypass Road By Kingsong Udoh

Two passengers travelling from Nnewi in Anambra State to Lagos State have been kidnapped by gunmen along Benin bypass.
The kidnapped passengers had been travelling on Friday 31st January 2020 in a Sienna owned by one of the popular transport companies in Nnewi Anambra State: Orizu Motors Ltd when they were ambushed by the gunmen. The two passengers (a man and a woman) were taken captive.
According to an eye witness, the kidnappers took the people that was well dressed and collected all passengers including the drivers phone.
Other road users have abandoned the route for fear of becoming victims of those hoodlums.
This incident occurred barely two days after the Senate minority leader, Enyinnaya Abaribe, during plenary on Wednesday January 29th, asked the officials of the Buhari-led government to resign following the escalating security challenges in all parts of the country.
The Edo State Police Command says it is yet to have any information about the whereabouts of the two abducted passengers.
