Lagos Leads As  H.E. Dr. Mrs Ibijoke Sanwoolu, First Lady of Lagos State Hosts Chief Mrs Kemi Nelson, Other APC Southwest Women Team

The first lady of Lagos State, H.E. Dr. Mrs Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu On 13th of March 2021 hosted APC Southwest Women Team led by  Chief Mrs Kemi Nelson( Yeye Shewa), A.P.C. Southwest Women (Committee),  Mrs Doyin Tayo Ayinde, wife of the chief of staff of Lagos State, among a host of others to show love and appreciation.

The meeting was to establish a more robust relationship among women in politics and also encourage more participation in politics by the female gender for the purpose of progress and nation Building.

During the meeting, Mrs Ibijoke Sanwoolu appreciated the South west women leaders in attendance for honoring her and for their never ending show of love and support for the progress of Lagos state.

The first Lady showered great words and encomiums on Chiefs Mrs kemi Nelson whom she has known and admired for so long for her deligent ,hard work and heart of caring for people.

She explained that the respect she has for them knows no bound because they have over the years stood by her passionately and committedly to the great party;APC. In alignment to the promises made during the campaign, she wanted to dialogue with everyone and see how they are doing.

She thanked them with words of wisdom and encouragement. She also charged them to please make sure to carry the youths in our communities along in teaching and training them in the informal and formal sector. They must also be encouraged to participate positively in politics or care in community development.

In her response, Chief Mrs kemi Nelson expressed her undiluted love and support for this Administration especially in their handling of this Covid 19 pandemic and other challenges that they have been faced with. She prayed for the success of this Administration and made it known that she is proud of the Governor and his Leadership style.

Furthermore, Hon. Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, the National Deputy Chairman, Association of Local Government Vice Chairmen of Nigeria and Vice Chairman Ikorodu LG described H.E.Mrs  Ibijoke Sanwoolu as an excellence and adorable personality, stating that she is a great role model every woman should want to emulate acknowledging her great impact in the success of this current administration.
