Lagos Socialite “Rilwan Cooler” Becomes the Olora of Ora
Ọba Rilwan Olawale Aremu Yekini has been officially installed as the new Ọlọ́ra of Ọra, a Second Class traditional ruler in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The monarch received his staff of office from Honourable Abdullahi Abubakar Bata, Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Community Development, on behalf of the Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
Popularly known in social circles as “Rilwan Cooler,” the newly installed monarch expressed deep appreciation to the state government for the confidence reposed in him.
He pledged to uphold the dignity of the throne while fostering unity, peace, and sustainable development within the Ora community.
The installation ceremony attracted several dignitaries, including Olupako of Share, Oba Haruna Olawale Suleyman, alongside other traditional rulers and government officials.
In his remarks, the Commissioner reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to strengthening traditional institutions and promoting peaceful coexistence across communities.
Following the ceremony, the new Ọlọ́ra of Ọra, Oba Rilwan Olawale Aremu Yekini, accompanied by his Olori, Ajoke, proceeded to Ora to complete the customary rites in line with tradition.
Oba Rilwan, who also holds the title Ilufemiloye I of Ora, is widely expected to leverage his experience as a businessman and social figure to attract investment, promote cultural heritage, and drive meaningful development in the community.
