Momentous Magazine has formally presented the notification letter for the 2026 Momentous Outstanding Personalities Award (MOPA 2026) to renowned Yoruba activist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho.

The notification letter was personally presented to him on Monday morning, August 24, 2026, at his residence by the Publisher and Chief Editor of Momentous Magazine, Amb. Prince Sesan Rufus Awobiye.

The presentation marked a significant step towards his formal recognition at the forthcoming MOPA 2026 ceremony, as Momentous Magazine continues to honour individuals whose contributions, leadership and public influence have distinguished them in society.

The award recognises Sunday Igboho’s prominence in public advocacy, his influence in conversations surrounding Yoruba identity and cultural consciousness, and his visibility in issues concerning community interests.

Speaking during the presentation, Amb. Prince Sesan Rufus Awobiye noted that MOPA is committed to celebrating individuals whose impact and contributions have continued to shape conversations and inspire people within and beyond their communities.

The presentation of the notification letter also provided an opportunity for Momentous Magazine to formally communicate the honour to Sunday Igboho ahead of the main award ceremony.

The Momentous Outstanding Personalities Award (MOPA) 2026 is expected to bring together distinguished personalities, entrepreneurs, public officials, community leaders and other notable Nigerians for an evening dedicated to celebrating excellence, leadership and outstanding contributions to society.
