I have never and will never be a fan of Okada and Keke Maruwa riders
They are reckless on the road, causing avoidable damage to (especially) private vehicle owners
They are responsible for most accidents on Lagos roads
However, LASG is wrong to place a total ban from 6 LGAs, restriction to inner roads would be a better idea
LASG is wrong to put a ban without providing any alternative to commuters who live in areas vehicles can’t access
LASG is wrong not to have considered other REGULATED bikes for exemption
LASG is wrong, haven just “milked” the regulated bikes with sundry charges through their agents, and now turned to ban them…will you make refunds with all accruing interest to owners of those bikes?
LASG must shift the implementation date, it is wickedly too sudden, FEBRUARY 1 will destabilise many workers, who frequently uses Okada to commute to where they can join a bus
Lagos State House of Assembly must act fast, and act now, to save Lagosians
Our listening Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, show some restraint, put alternatives in place for commuters, then we will support you to get rid of Okada and Keke Maruwa. #ShiftBanOnOkadaKekeMaruwa
