THE REAL ENEMIES OF NIGERIA!
Yesterday, the governor of Borno state, Prof Babagana Zulum alighted from his vehicle and confronted security personnels (Police and Soldiers), who locked down the Maiduguri-Damaturu road, causing a long traffic build-up, extorting N500 and N1,000 from travellers who were not with their National Identity Cards.
He chided the security agents openly and told them that it was wrong extorting money and making citizens suffer for the inefficiency of the Federal government.
He’s not from the opposition Party, he’s a member of the ruling APC.
Last month, governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state openly condemned the DSS for invading the Abuja High Court to re-arrest Omoyele Sowore after being granted bail and meeting his bail conditions, urging the bar to arise and protect the sanctity of the law.
He’s not from the opposition Party, he’s a member of the ruling APC.
Can these two men be said to be enemies of President Buhari?
They spoke openly against illegalities perpetuated in the system, even though they belong to the ruling party at the centre.
If all of us start speaking truth to power, irrespective of our political affiliations, Nigeria will soon become the nation of our dreams.
Those who believe that President Buhari can never do wrong and every step taken by this administration must be defended, no matter what, are the real enemies of Nigeria!
