The TRACE boss spoke through Mowe/Ibafo Divisional Commander Olusola Ojuoro while controlling traffic gridlocks at Kara Bridge, along Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
He stressed that the Corps’ operatives defiant from working in accordance with Commander Ogunyemi’s directives to ensure no flatbet or unhooked container trucks allow to move on the roads across the state.

“Majority of articulated vehicles that are not supposed to be on the road again are seen on the roads. This are causing more damages to both roads and properties”

He appealed to motorists to always drive with patient,  utmost speed limits at the construction areas along the expressway.
He urged drivers to desist from driving against traffic and creating illegal bus stops, saying these are the major causes of incessant gridlocks in the expressway. “We will continue, in line with the Commander Ogunyemi’s directives engaged in 24 hours patrol for prompt intervention, respond and rescue should the need arises within the corridor,” Ojuoro, added.
