BOCA Energy Resources Ltd Celebrates Youths Globally, Reaffirms Commitment to Youth Empowerment and Sustainable Development on International Youth Day 2026

LAGOS, NIGERIA — August 12, 2026 – BOCA Energy Resources Ltd has joined millions of individuals, institutions and organisations around the world in celebrating young people on International Youth Day 2026, reaffirming the company’s commitment to youth empowerment, innovation, skills development, responsible leadership and sustainable economic growth.
International Youth Day is observed annually on August 12 following its designation by the United Nations General Assembly. The 2026 observance is themed “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations,” highlighting the universal aspirations of young people for dignity, opportunity, inclusion and meaningful participation in shaping their future.
In its message marking the occasion, BOCA Energy Resources Ltd recognised young people as an indispensable force in shaping the future of businesses, communities, economies and nations.
The company noted that today’s youth are not merely beneficiaries of tomorrow’s opportunities but active contributors to innovation, entrepreneurship, technology, energy transition, social development and economic transformation.
The Chairman/CEO of BOCA Energy Resources Ltd, Mr. James Ukachukwu, in a goodwill message to young people globally, described the youth population as one of the world’s greatest assets and called for greater investment in education, skills, creativity, entrepreneurship and responsible leadership.
