CORONAVIRUS: GOV FAYEMI PROVIDES FREE BUSES , HAND SANITIZERS FOR EKSU STUDENTS TRAVELLING OUTSIDE EKITI
Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi has approved the immediate release of buses for students of the Ekiti State University(EKSU) travelling to various destinations outside Ekiti state.
Dr. Fayemi gave the approval in Ado Ekiti today following the reports of crowded motor parks by students who were trying to travel outside the state in obedience to the government’s directive on closure of tertiary institutions in the State.
In the same vein, the Governor also approved distribution of free hand sanitizers for the students. This ,according to the Governor will be useful for the students while on the journey as the social distancing rule may be difficult for them to adhere to in the course of their trip.
It could be recalled that closure of tertiary institutions was one of the directives given by the Ekiti State Government as a way of preventing the spread of coronavirus in the State.
