E Don Happen: Fuji Veteran, Obesere Becomes A Household Meme

Fuji artiste, Abass Akande Obesere has become the favorite meme of Nigerian Twitter with his vulgar yet hilarious past music videos.
It all started when a Twitter user used a snippet from his music video to describe a situation on the first day of the motorcycle/tricycle ban by the Lagos State Government.
The lyrics goes :”Egungun be careful, na express you dey go. Motor don jam you. E don happen, I don talk am. Motor don jam am, I don talk am.”
“E don happen” has become a commonly used phrase to describe unexpected situations on Twitter.
Nigerians on Twitter are celebrating the musician and comparing him to other eccentric musicians like Terry G and Naira Marley, saying he paved the way for them.
Obesere was notorious for singing with vulgar lyrics, wearing female clothes and using scantily clad women for his videos.
