IVORY COAST- COLOMBIA CORINE HAZOUMÉ, APPOINTED HONORARY CONSUL.
In 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Colombia, HE Mr. Alvaro LEYVA, sent a diligence for the opening of a diplomatic representation in Ivory Coast. On August 22, 2024, South American and Ivorian Mayors appointed Corine Hazoumé, Founder of CERAFRIQUE (Ivory Coast, Benin, Nigeria, France) as Honorary Consul of Ivory Coast in Colombia. She received an official mandate from the Guiglo Town Hall for representation in Latin America. Corine Hazoumé has been at the heart of exchanges between Africa and Latin America since 2018. In October 2022 in Colombia, she won the Guachupe de Oro prize. Its results are 12 diplomatic representations in Africa. Source: Colombia Negra Foundation.
