Kola Abiola For President 2023
After the political quagmire of June 12, 1993, Nigerians had been looking for a leader they could trust and believe could take them to the promise land. The forces that masterminded the chaos of June 12 went to prison to bring Obasanjo to cajole the public to believe that the Yorubas were settled. Unfortunately, June 12 was not about the Yorubas. It was as a result of self-determination by Nigerians to look for a leader they could trust. That was the reason they embraced the candidacy of Chief MKO Abiola.
Since then many other leaders including President Muhammadu Buhari have been experimented in the country. But none was willing to adopt the June 12 Manifesto of Chief MKO Abiola, which was a manifesto of hope for economic recovery and unity among religious groups and tribes. What the cabal did was to use every opportunity to settle each of their political blocks after they murdered the hope of the populace by annulling the June 12 election.
I think they have settled themselves enough and it is time to settle the masses by giving them the June 12 Manifesto as proposed by Chief MKO Abiola. That manifesto is a necessity at this stage of the political history of the country.
There would be no other person to interpret the June 12 Manifesto other than Kola Abiola. He was there with his father, and he knows the dreams his father had for the Nigerian nation. It is at this juncture that Kola Abiola is my Nigeria 2023 presidential election candidate.
I humbly call on my party, The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to seek the consent of Kola Abiola to run for the office of the president and help Nigerians implement the June 12 Manifesto as proposed by his father, Chief MKO Abiola. But if APC fills in Kola as their 2023 presidential flagbearer, I believe majority of Nigerians will have no option than to support him irrespective of the platform he runs.
All we want is June 12 Manifesto and the only person we trust to implement that manifesto is Kola Abiola. So, PDP if you want to win the 2023 presidential election, adopt June 12 through Kola Abiola. June 12 Manifesto is the only force that can defeat any political cabal in the country in the next election. It is time to elect a government that would benefit the general public and not just a few who have access to the corridor of power.
To Kola Abiola: Please accept the call by Nigerians and run for the office of the president. We need that June 12 Manifesto. Give it to us by answering this call. Do not be afraid of anything anymore. The storm is over. Just accept our call to run and see what Nigerians will do. The only thing that can stop you from becoming president is your refusal to contest. We want you, Sir!
