RT. HON. MUDASHIRU OBASA TO HEADLINE WARD B ORILE AGEGE STAKEHOLDERS’ MEETING ON GRASSROOTS GOVERNANCE

The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, is set to headline a major Stakeholders’ Meeting organized by the Councillor representing Ward B, Orile Agege LCDA, Hon. Akinbile Olusola Gafar, as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots governance and deepen community engagement.
The meeting, themed “Community Familiarization in Strengthening Grassroots Governance Through the Legislative Arm,” is expected to bring together party leaders, traditional rulers, religious leaders, community development associations, youth and women groups, market leaders, and other key stakeholders across Ward B, Orile Agege.
The event will also feature the Executive Chairman of Orile Agege Local Council Development Area, Hon. Akinola Abiodun Idowu, alongside other notable political leaders and community stakeholders who are expected to discuss issues affecting the ward and chart a course for sustainable development.
According to the organizers, the stakeholders’ engagement is designed to foster stronger collaboration between elected representatives and residents, encourage active citizen participation in governance, and promote policies that will enhance community growth and development.
The meeting is scheduled to hold on Saturday, July 18, 2026, by 3:00 p.m. at 10 Oremeta Street, Orile Agege, Lagos.
Convener of the event, Hon. Akinbile Olusola Gafar, reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive leadership, noting that continuous engagement with constituents remains essential to delivering quality representation and strengthening democratic governance at the grassroots level.
