Triumphant Baptist Church dedicates new Worship Auditorium in Lagos.
Triumphant Baptist Church, a leading member of the Lagos West Baptist Conference and a member of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, is set to unveil and dedicate its new church building complex.
A pillar of faith since its establishment on March 24, 1996, under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Dr. Julius Adeniji, former Conference President, Lagos West Baptist Conference, the new state-of-the-art auditorium and office complex will be dedicated on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the church’s permanent site, 19 Olufemi Ojo, Shasha Road, Akowonjo, Lagos.
Speaking about the new church complex, the Senior Pastor and current Minister-in-Charge of the church, Rev. Dr. Sunday Oladejo stated that, “The new complex is a testament to the abiding grace of God and the church’s resilience, growth, and unwavering commitment to its members and the community at large”.
Said he: “The Church in its chequred history has experienced a lot that impacted its trajectory and growth, including challenges that threatened the spiritual evolution. Despite all this, the Almighty God granted the church victory. The dedication of the new building is a testimonial to God’s faithfulness, hence the theme: “A Glorious Rehoboth”(Genesis 26:22).
The monumental unveiling marks the culmination of a journey that began when the church moved from its initial location along Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway and temporarily used various facilities before securing its current site in 1998.
“We are delighted to formallly open and dedicate this new facility, which not only provides a modern space for worship but also enhances our capacity to serve our community through expanded ministry and administrative capabilities,” Rev. Oladejo added.
Expected at the the unveiling ceremony are the President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, Rev. Dr. Israel Akanji; the President of the Lagos West Baptist Conference, Rev Dr Samuel Oladiran; as well as other special guests and anointed men of God.
The event will feature a special worship service, guided tours, and a reception.
