The Adele Olu of Ilaro, High Chief Abiodun Olalekan Ilo, has praised the revived League of Yewa-Awori Media Practitioners (LOYAMP) in Ogun West for emerging at a critical time when the region needs committed and seasoned journalists to advocate for its interests.

Speaking from his base in the United States during a recent online interview with Abu-Satar Hamed of StarTrend International Magazine, High Chief Ilo expressed his surprise and admiration for the volume and quality of publications from various platforms operated by LOYAMP members, particularly those highlighting the efforts of Senator Adeola Yayi.

The traditional ruler encouraged LOYAMP to sustain their good work by promoting the ambitions of Senator Adeola Yayi, as well as other sons and daughters of the region, as a balanced approach toward achieving the collective goals of Ogun West.

He further advised the media group to avoid any news or publications that could undermine their hard-earned credibility and integrity in the industry.

Expressing confidence in the group’s professionalism, Chief Ilo noted that with the calibre of experienced practitioners within LOYAMP, “especially Otunba Abu-Satar Idowu Hamed, the group’s National Coordinator – an accomplished and veteran journalist with significant influence – Ogun West now boasts a dedicated Fourth Estate of the Realm.”

The Adele Olu also called on the sons, daughters, and residents of Ogun West, as well as the wider Ogun State and Nigeria, to support LOYAMP so the organization can continue to serve the region and the nation effectively.
