“Agege Deserves a New Era of Purposeful Leadership” — Hon. Oladeebo Okadigbo Rallies Massive Grassroots Support Ahead of Assembly Race
A wave of excitement and political energy swept across Agege as supporters from different ethnic and community groups gathered in solidarity with frontline Lagos State House of Assembly aspirant, Hon. Olaide Oladeebo Okadigbo, during an interactive session with Momentous Media.

The respected philanthropist and grassroots mobilizer, popularly known as *Okadigbo Agege*, reaffirmed his commitment to people-centered leadership, youth empowerment, and community development as he prepares for the political journey ahead in Agege Constituency 02.
Speaking passionately during the media engagement, Hon. Okadigbo described the gathering not as a political rally, but as a strong show of unity and acceptance from the people who believe in his vision for a better Agege.

“Today is not a rally. We only want to identify with our supporters and show the people of Agege that we have massive grassroots support. The people know who truly represents them,” he said confidently.
Widely recognized for his humanitarian activities and empowerment initiatives across communities, Hon. Okadigbo noted that philanthropy has always been at the center of his life’s mission long before politics became part of his journey.

According to him, his years of supporting widows, youths, artisans, and less privileged residents have built a strong relationship between him and the people.
“What gave me an edge is not politics alone, but my passion for humanity. I have empowered many people, created opportunities for youths, supported families, and stood with the less privileged. The people know my impact,” he stated.

The atmosphere at the gathering reflected his growing popularity as supporters from Yoruba, Igbo, and Northern communities openly declared solidarity with his aspiration — a development he described as emotional and encouraging.
“I am Yoruba to the core, but I have never believed in tribal politics. Seeing people from all ethnic groups come together in support of this movement gladdens my heart. It shows that the people are ready for good governance and genuine leadership,” he said.

Hon. Okadigbo also used the opportunity to commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for encouraging internal democracy within the political system, stressing that popularity and credibility among the people should determine electoral victories.
While acknowledging his relationship with prominent political figures, he insisted that his acceptance among the people is based on his track record of service rather than political connections.
“Connection alone cannot give victory. What matters is what you have done for the people. The people know those who genuinely care about their welfare,” he emphasized.
In an emotional reflection on the state of the constituency, the aspirant lamented the years of hardship, unemployment, insecurity, and youth neglect that have affected many families in Agege.
He stressed the urgent need for transformational leadership capable of restoring hope to young people and rebuilding public trust in governance.
“Many youths have lost direction because of failed leadership over the years. This is the time to change the narrative and give our people hope again,” he declared.
Hon. Okadigbo further promised that if elected into the Lagos State House of Assembly, he would prioritize youth empowerment, employment opportunities, environmental development, accountability, and people-oriented policies that would leave lasting legacies in Agege.
“By the grace of God, if I emerge victorious, I will ensure that my tenure brings meaningful development and a legacy the people of Agege will never forget,” he assured.

Addressing the youths directly, the philanthropist urged them not to sell their future for temporary gains or allow themselves to be manipulated by politicians who have failed to deliver meaningful progress over the years.
“The youths must stay focused and resist deception. This generation deserves a better future, and together we can build an Agege that works for everyone,” he concluded.

The event ended with chants of solidarity and renewed hope among supporters who described Hon. Oladeebo Okadigbo as “a man of the people” and “the voice of a new Agege.”
